We love the slightly androgynous quality of vintage striped sweaters, and we decided it was high time to refresh this sartorial classic. It’s still infused with a slight professorial air courtesy of adorable elbow patches, but this time around we used a bright, cheerful color palette to give each one a decidedly feminine feel. They’re both chic and modern when you give them a whirl over patterned blouses (thanks to a lovely boat neckline!) or on their own with sleek skinny denim.
